Tofino, BC, and Chesterman Beach hold a special place in our hearts; an enduring love affair that began over two decades ago. As best friends, with 5 collective kids, and business partners hailing from Victoria, this coastal gem has been our sanctuary, our escape from the daily grind.
The magnetic pull of the waves compelled us to christen our cherished cottage "WavesTofino." Every journey to Tofino feels like shedding worries as we traverse the Port Alberni mountains. The air, crisp and pure, infuses us with vitality, while the majestic, hushed rainforest captivates our souls.
Morning walks to the Wickaninnish for a specialty coffee bring solace, setting the tone for days filled with surfing, hiking, and bike rides along the beach or into town. A favourite afternoon stop is Chocolate Tofino for ice cream, or Ronnie's Barbecue, where we’re serenaded by live music. Evenings find us unwinding in a hot tub, board games, sharing tales of adventure, and occasionally capping it all off with world-class dining experiences at our favourite restaurants.
